About the pricing of the training
We operate with the principle of “Ask for what you need, offer what you can“, and we invite you into shared responsibility to make this training happen.
The estimated budget to organize this year’s Art of Hosting training is around 570 million VND. This includes all the food and accommodation, organizing cost (transportations, venues…) and a small honorarium for the people who put in the efforts to make this training happen.
We expect to welcome around 50 participants this year. So taking the budget divided by the number of people and we have the first tier of pricing—the base fee—at 11.5 million VND per ticket (470 USD).
We also offer a second tier of pricing where the team receives little to no honorarium at all. In this case the minimal fee is 9.2 million VND per ticket (376 USD).
We understand that these fees might still be a lot for some people. That is why we are creating a pot called Gifts to Neighbors; everyone can give to, and ask for support from the Gifts. For example, if you can only offer 4 million VND, you can ask 7.4 million from the Gifts. Alternatively, if you can cover the price and want to help others, then any amount you pay above 11.4 mil will go to the Gifts. And the best part is, the Gifts do not start from zero. We already have 50 million VND from last year’s training that was saved for this purpose.
Furthermore, whether you want to ask or contribute to the Gifts or not, we offer a 5-10% discount for groups of at least 3 participants coming from the same project / organization / family / neighborhood depending on your group size and your need. This offer is to encourage people from the same community to join and learn together, so that they have a shared practice when they come back.
As always, everything is a conversation-based process. Please let us know your needs and offers in the registration form. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
What is included in the fee?
The fee does NOT include VAT. Please indicate in the Registration Form if you require a VAT invoice.
SUSTAINABLE TICKET
- Transport from Hanoi to the venue & back (2 hours, with our shuttle bus) at a fixed hour.
- Accommodation & food for the length of the training (3 nights, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, 3 buffet breakfasts).
- Materials, templates for the training, and workbook in PDF form.
- Training fee (3,5 days).
- A small honorarium for the people who put in the effort to make this training happen.
BASE TICKET
- Transport from Hanoi to the venue & back (2 hours, with our shuttle bus) at a fixed hour.
- Accommodation & food for the length of the training (3 nights, 3 lunches, 3 dinners, 3 buffet breakfasts).
- Materials, templates for the training, and workbook in PDF form.
- Training fee (3,5 days).
- * Very little to no honorarium to the team at all.
GIFT TO NEIGHBORS
- We welcome anyone who would like to contribute to Gift to Neighbors. Follow this link to give your gift.
- Or you would like to ask for support to join the training. Share your need with us in our Registration form and we will contact you through email.
Cancellation policy:
If you cancel before February 14th, you will be refunded 100%.
If you cancel from February 14th until before March 4th, you will be refunded 50%.
If you cancel from March 4th onward, there will be no refund.
ACCOMMODATION
- Standard room
- Single room - one double bed
- Executive suite for a family of four
- Extra fee (if applicable)
This option is included in your ticket already.
A room with 2 – 3 single beds.
You will share with 1 – 2 participants.

You will need to add 900,000 VND to your ticket.

You will need to add 2,800,000 VND to your ticket.
Some participants may want to combine this training with a family trip. In that case, there will be another option for you to share your room with your accompanies.
The extra fee from the hotel price policy:
- Add extra bed: 400,000 VND/bed.
- Extra fee for adults: 300,000 VND/person/night.
- Extra fee for children: 200,000 VND/person/night.
